South State Street in Clarks Summit is a three-lane, asphalted expressway (Road number US 6;US 11). No sidewalks. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from North State Street and crosses Highland Avenue, Winola Road, Colburn Avenue, Main Avenue, Spring Street, Stone Avenue, Zimmerman Street, Clermont Street, Barrett Street, East Grove Street and West Grove Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. South State Street is also known as Lackawanna Trail. This street is part of the highways 6 and 11.
