Levanne Castle This castle was owned by the Semple family for a few hundred years, so technically it's probably mine. It was restored about 30 years ago by my friend, the late great David Pearson. Hence one of the best lines of all time, whilst on the phone to the Gas Board: "It's the first fucking castle on the right when you come into the scheme!"
