It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Mertyn Lane and crosses Saith-Aelwyd Park, Holway Court, Carmel Road, Grange Lane, Moor Lane, James's Place, Brynffynnon Terrace, Gwel Afon, Wedgewood Heights and Whitford Street and ends at Fron Park Road. It connects Holywell and Whitford. This road is part of the hiking trail "North Wales Pilgrim's Way".
