It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Shade Road, Pickens County 78, Howard Road, Martin L King Road, Old Garden Road, Harry McCaa Drive, Sapps Road, Gillem Hill Road, Quail Trail, West Park, 13th Street Northwest and Country Club Lane. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Aliceville and Pickens County. This street is part of the highway "14" as well as the Bicycle routes US:AL C9 and Underground Railroad Bicycle Route (Alabama). Columbus Road also exists in Chambers County.
