Great River Road in Allamakee County is a two-lane, asphalted secondary road (also known as County Highway X52). There is no parking. It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Columbus Road, Whalen Hill Road, Blue Heron Lane, Eagle Ridge Lane, Thunder Bird Lane, Sunrise View, Blosco Bluff Lane, Power Plant Drive, Wood Duck Lane, Kestrel Drive, Sunny View Drive and Lafayette Ridge Drive. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Lansing Township, Lafayette Township and Taylor Township. Great River Road is also known as County Highway X52. This street is part of the highways Great River Road (Iowa - all routes) and X52 as well as the Bicycle route "Mississippi River Trail (Iowa)". Great River Road also exists in Iowa Township.
