It runs in an east-west direction starting from 175th Street and crosses Central Avenue, Littleton Street, Water Street, Main Street North, Main Street South, Columbus Street North, Columbus Street South, Perry Street North, Perry Street South and Chatham Street and ends at 175th Street. State Street is also known as County Road D16. This street is part of the highway "D16". State Street also exists in Ringgold County, Cedar County and Fayette County.
