It runs in a north-south direction and crosses 230th Street, 240th Street, 250th Street, 255th Street, 260th Street, 265th Street, 270th Street, 280th Street, 290th Street, 300th Street, 310th Street and 320th Street. It connects Union Township and Richland Township. Velvet Avenue is also known as County Road N50. Velvet Avenue also exists in Jasper Township.
