It runs in a north-south direction and crosses 230th Street, 240th Street, 250th Street, 144 Diagonal, 260th Street, 270th Street, 275th Street, 280th Street, 285th Street, 290th Street, County Highway E57 and 295th Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Washington Township and Junction Township. U Avenue is also known as South 8th Street. U Avenue also exists in Paton Township.
