240th Street in Grundy County is an asphalted main road. It runs in an east-west direction and crosses C Avenue, E Avenue, F Avenue, G Avenue, H Avenue, I Avenue, West Hickory Grove, 235th Street and K Avenue and ends at M Avenue, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Melrose Township and Palermo Township. 240th Street is also known as State Highway 14. This street is part of the highways 175 and T19. 240th Street also exists in Black Hawk Township.
