It runs in a north-south direction starting from Shady Oaks Road and crosses East Merle Hibbs Boulevard, Lincoln Highway, 250th Street, 260th Street, East 270th Street, 270th Street, 275th Street and 280th Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Greencastle Township and Le Grand Township. Underwood Avenue also exists in Marion Township and Vienna Township.
