This page is the City map of Maine, a state in the United States with streets, paths and places shown across approximately 91,646 square kilometres. York County lies in southern Maine along the Atlantic coast and the New Hampshire border. It had 211,972 residents, and its county seat is Alfred, while Biddeford, Sanford and York are among its best-known communities.
The county includes coastal places such as Ogunquit, Wells and Kennebunk, as well as the Piscataqua River near Kittery. York County dates from 1636, making it one of the oldest county-level administrative areas in Maine.

Aroostook County occupies about 17,686 square kilometres in northern Maine and had 67,105 residents. It is Maine’s largest county by area and reaches the Canadian border, with communities including Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Kent and Houlton.
The Saint John River forms parts of the northern boundary, while the Aroostook River flows through the county. Agricultural fields around Presque Isle and Caribou are especially associated with potato cultivation, and Fort Kent lies near the St. John Plantation border area.

Waterville and Gardiner are other important communities, and the Kennebec River passes the historic site of Fort Western in Augusta. The county was established in 1799 and includes inland lakes and forested areas around the towns of Belgrade, Oakland and China.

The county reaches the Bay of Fundy and contains the easternmost incorporated city in the United States, Eastport, on Moose Island. The St. Croix River forms part of the Canadian boundary, while Lubec lies opposite Campobello Island in New Brunswick and near the entrance to Passamaquoddy Bay.
