It runs in an east-west direction starting from Washington Street and crosses Sunburst Highway, Woods Road, Church Creek Road, Oak Hill Drive, Bucktown Road, 1st Street, Old Route 50, Aireys Road Spurs, Austin Road, Mount Holly Road and Chateau Drive. It connects Dorchester County, Vienna and Cambridge. This street is part of the highways 16, 50 and Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway (Spine).
