It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Trail Avenue, Blair Avenue, Annie Avenue, East College Street, West College Street, East Collier Street, West Collier Street, East Cherry Street, West Cherry Street, East Wood Street, West Wood Street and Boone Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highway "Old State Highway 47". Main Street also exists in Hawk Point, Old Monroe, Truxton and Whiteside.
