River Road in Montgomery Township is a secondary road (also known as Millstone River Road). It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Staats Farm Road, Griggstown Causeway, Belle Mead-Griggstown Road, Grist Mill Drive, Ridgeview Drive, Boysenberry Lane, Dead Tree Run Road and Bridgepoint Road and ends at Orchard Road, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. River Road is also known as Millstone River Road. This street is part of the Bicycle routes Canal Road, High Point to Cape May Bike Route and East Coast Greenway (NJ on-road alternate) as well as the highways 605, 533 and Millstone Valley Scenic Byway. Nearby there is a cemetery. River Road also exists in Raritan, Bedminster Township and Branchburg Township.
