It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Monroe Street and crosses North Front Street, South Front Street, South 1st Street, North 2nd Street, South 2nd Street, North 3rd Street, South 3rd Street, North 4th Street, South 4th Street, North 5th Street and South 5th Street. This street is part of the highways 412, 56, 64, Santa Fe Trail National Scenic Byway and Santa Fe National Historic Trail Auto Tour Route. Nearby you can find among others a drugstore, an art gallery, a hardware store and a furniture store. Main Street also exists in Folsom and Grenville.
