It runs in an east-west direction starting from Vanderbilt Motor Parkway and crosses Jefferson Avenue, Washington Avenue, Brentwood Parkway, Old Willets Path, LIE North Service Road, Express Drive South, Calebs Path, Highland Road, Hoffman Avenue, Gilpin Avenue and Church Drive. It connects Town of Islip and Village of Islandia. This street is part of the highways Long Island Motor Parkway and 67 as well as the Bicycle route "Long Island Greenway—Phase III".
