Northeast 5th Avenue in Hillsboro is a three-lane, asphalted local road. The street has sidewalks as well as bike paths (bike lane). It runs in a north-south direction starting from Northeast Jackson School Road and crosses Northeast Grant Street, Northeast Edison Street, Northeast Jackson Street, Northeast Drummer Lane, Northeast Lincoln Street, Northeast Dewdrop Lane and East Main Street and ends at Southeast 5th Avenue. It connects Downtown Hillsboro and Hillsboro. Northeast 5th Avenue also exists in Malheur County, Clackamas County and Umatilla County.
