It runs in a north-south direction starting from Northwest Kansas City Road and crosses Northwest Hillside Road, Northwest Buckley Road, Northwest Kemper Road, Northwest Wildberry Lane, Northwest Kraemer Drive, Northwest Purdin Road, Coho Circle, Northwest Plum Hill Lane, Northwest David Hill Road and Glade Avenue and ends at Nichols Lane. It connects Forest Grove and Washington County. Northwest Thatcher Road is also known as Thatcher Road. This street is part of the Bicycle route "Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway".
