West Main Street in Hamilton Township is a two-lane, asphalted main road (also known as Grand Army of the Republic Highway). The street has no sidewalks. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Lincoln Street, Church Street, North Hillside Avenue, South Hillside Road, Water Street, Mill Lane, Sven Alley and Central Road and ends at East Main Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. West Main Street is also known as Grand Army of the Republic Highway. This street is part of the Bicycle routes BicyclePA Route Y and 36 (Pennsylvania) as well as the highway "6". West Main Street also exists in Smethport and Mount Jewett.
