It runs in an east-west direction starting from Glades Pike and crosses North Humberson Drive, South Humberson Drive, Hickory Avenue, Scott Avenue, Cook Lane, Brubaker Street, Meyran Avenue, Circle Drive, Harrison Avenue, Colby Avenue and North Franklin Avenue. West Main Street is also known as State Route 31. This street is part of the highways 31 and 281 as well as the Bicycle route "BicyclePA Route S". West Main Street also exists in Stoystown.
