It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Barrier Highway and crosses Bloomfield Road, Moomba Sydney Ethane Pipeline Maintenance Track, Belarabon Road, Moolah Road and Developmental Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Sandy Creek, Kulwin and Cobar. The Wool Track is also known as Ivanhoe Road.
