It runs in a north-south direction starting from Nyngan Road and crosses Lewis Street, Filtration Plant Road, Sewerage Works Road, Cobar Street, East Parade, The Peak Way, Osterley Downs Road, Wallace Vale Road, Priory Tank Road, Shuttleton Road and Manuka Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Nymagee, Cobar, Mount Hope and Gilgunnia. This road is part of the long-distance road "B87".
