It runs in an east-west direction starting from Lachlan Valley Way and crosses Bank Street, Stephen Street, King Street, Warraderry Way and East Street and ends at Lachlan Valley Way. Main Street is also known as Lachlan Valley Way. This road is part of the long-distance road "Lachlan Valley Way".
