It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Olympic Highway, Ridge Street, Waterworks Road, Lillian Street, Cedric Street, Cross Street, Florence Street, Elizabeth Street, Pitt Street, Orr Street, Cox Street and Humphrys Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. Main Street is also known as Olympic Highway. This road is part of the long-distance roads Olympic Highway and A41. In the vicinity, there is a campsite.
