Newell Highway in Moree Plains Shire Council is a two-lane, asphalted expressway (110 km/h). It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Gunsynd Way, Boggabilla Trucking Yards Road, Bondi Road, River Road, Racecourse Street, Merriwa Street, North Street, Yeoman Street, Simpson Street, McCosker Street, Lowes Road and Letterbox Road. This road is part of the long-distance roads Cunningham Highway and A39. In the vicinity, you can find among other things 2 tourist information offices, a campsite, a parking and a petrol station.
