It runs in a north-south direction starting from Alice Street and crosses Margaret Street, Daintree Street, Scarr Street, Ramsay Street, Barkly Highway, Short Street, Douglas Street, Meldrum Street and McKinlay Street East. Station Street also exists in Bundaberg Region, Maranoa Regional, Gold Coast City, Lockyer Valley Regional and Toowoomba Regional.
