Captain Cook Highway in Oak Beach

Captain Cook Highway in Douglas Shire is an asphalted expressway (80 km/h). It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Owen Street, Dickson Street, Beor Street, Andreassen Road, Palm Avenue, Mowbray River Road, Trezise Road, Sherrington Road, Pebbly Beach Drive, Tool Gate Road, Reynolds Road and Oak Beach Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Wangetti, Craiglie, Mowbray, Port Douglas and Oak Beach. This road is part of the long-distance road "44". Captain Cook Highway also exists in Cassowary, Bonnie Doon and Shannonvale.
