It runs in an east-west direction starting from Inglewood Texas Road and crosses Greenup Street, Broadway, Kemp Street, Avon Street, Cadell Street, Severn Street, MacDougal Street and Flemming Street. Middleton Street also exists in Western Downs Regional, Townsville City, Richmond Shire, McKinlay Shire and City of Brisbane.
