It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Herries Street, Mary Street, James Street, Ramsay Street, Perth Street, Clopton Street, Phillip Street, Nessbank Street, Boyes Lane, Geddes Street, Herbert Street and Harrold Lane. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects East Toowoomba, South Toowoomba and Rangeville.
