It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Angus Avenue, Banfield Drive, Greg Jabs Drive, Duckworth Street, Nathan Street, Pilkington Street and Bayswater Road and ends at Woolcock Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Mount Louisa and Garbutt. This road is part of the long-distance road "93". Dalrymple Road also exists in Kirwan, Heatley, Vincent, Bohle Plains and Shaw.
