Highland Lakes Road in Central Highlands is an asphalted main road. It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Allison Road, Warner Road, Breona Rise, Rainbow Road, Wallace Road, Wilkies Court, Johnstone Road, Jillett Road North, Tomray Drive, Rats Castle Road, Brandum Bay Drive and Middle Brandum Crescent. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Bothwell, Miena, Steppes, Brandum, Liawenee and Doctors Point. This road is part of the long-distance road "A5" and the bicycle route "Tasmanian Trail". In the vicinity, there is among other things a motel.
