Western Freeway in Mount Rowan

Western Freeway in City of Ballarat is a two-lane motorway (110 km/h). The road has cycle paths. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Carpenter Road, Windermere-Learmonth Road, Powells Road, Draffins Road, Dowling Road, Sunraysia Highway Offramp, Western Freeway Onramp, Miners Rest Offramp, Western Freeway On Ramp, Midland Highway Offramp and Western Highway Onramp and ends at Western Highway, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Windermere, Miners Rest, Brown Hill, Nerrina, Mount Rowan and Invermay. This road is part of the long-distance road "M8". Western Freeway also exists in Ballarat North, Invermay Park, Wendouree and Mitchell Park.
