It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Portland - Nelson Road and crosses Swan Lake Road, Post Office Road, Strachan Track, Price Road, Chimney Track, Bridgewater Track, Mount Richmond Road, North East Boundary Track, Blackers Track, Emu Hill Track and South Boundary Track. It connects Mount Richmond, Cape Bridgewater and Gorae West.
