Davies Road in Merrijig

Davies Road in Shire of Mansfield is an unpaved minor road. It runs in a north-south direction starting from Lovick Lane. Davies Road also exists in Shire of Corangamite, City of Ballarat, City of Frankston, Shire of South Gippsland and Shire of Mount Alexander.

Buttercup Two Camping Area. Light a fire in the designated fire pits and enjoy the sound of the water tumbling through Buttercup Creek. The surrounding Peppermint, Swamp Gum, Candlebark, Manna Gum and Stringybark provided nicely shaded camping spots. This is a small campground so – approx. 8,2 km.

Tomahawk Hut. This site is magnificent and rich in history,Originally being built as a base for road building crews. You are able to utilise to Hut for your camping needs and the road is 2WD accessible what more could you want. – approx. 16,7 km.
Evans Creek Hut. Remote, basic bush hut situated on the Evans Creek. – approx. 17,6 km.
