Top Road in Merrijig

Top Road in Shire of Mansfield is a single-lane, unpaved residential street. It runs in an east-west direction starting from "The Boulevard" (Old Howqua Track) and crosses Old Howqua Track and Top Dam Road and ends at Middle Road. Top Road also exists in Shire of Murrindindi, City of Frankston, Shire of Baw Baw, Rural City of Swan Hill and Shire of Gannawarra.

Buttercup Two Camping Area. Light a fire in the designated fire pits and enjoy the sound of the water tumbling through Buttercup Creek. The surrounding Peppermint, Swamp Gum, Candlebark, Manna Gum and Stringybark provided nicely shaded camping spots. This is a small campground so – approx. 5,7 km.
Buttercup Three Camping Area. Light a fire in the designated fire pits and sit back to listen to the sound of the water tumbling through Buttercup Creek. Buttercup Four Camping Area. The tumbling water in Buttercup Creek provides a peaceful background when camping at this site. The surrounding Peppermint, Swamp Gum, Candlebark, Manna Gum and Stringybark provided nicely shaded camping spots. This is a small campground so you will enj – approx. 7,5 km.
Tomahawk Hut. This site is magnificent and rich in history,Originally being built as a base for road building crews. You are able to utilise to Hut for your camping needs and the road is 2WD accessible what more could you want. – approx. 13,6 km.
Evans Creek Hut. Remote, basic bush hut situated on the Evans Creek. – approx. 15,1 km.
