It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Jackmans Road, Delahuntys Road, Roses Gap Road, Phillips Road, Daves Avenue, Howard Road, Mount Drummond Road, Rea Road, Nitschke Road, Stawell - Warracknabeal Road, Ballast Lane and Old Glenorchy Road. It connects Deep Lead, Ledcourt, Stawell and Glenorchy. This road is part of the long-distance road "A8". In the vicinity, there is a campsite.
