It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses South Street, Adelaide Road, Alcoa Drive, Carcoola Avenue, Fairbridge Road, Morrell Road, Money Road, Wades Road, Del Park Road, Edward Street, Kingston Street and Church Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects North Dandalup, Fairbridge and Pinjarra. This road is part of the long-distance road "20". South Western Highway also exists in Coolup and Blythewood.
