Bay Street in Victoria is a two-lane, asphalted secondary road (50 km/h). The road has a sidewalk. It runs in an east-west direction starting from Catherine Street and crosses Wilson Street, Tyee Road, Pleasant Street, Turner Street, Bridge Street, Ludgate Street, Rock Bay Avenue, Government Street, Douglas Street, Westbourne Place and Blanshard Street. It connects Burnside, North Park, Victoria West, Fernwood, Hillside/Quadra and North Jubilee. Bay Street also exists in Regional District of Nanaimo, Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, Metro Vancouver Regional District, Thompson-Nicola Regional District and Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine.
