Highway 7 in Cavan-Monaghan is a two-lane, asphalted expressway (80 km/h). It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Sherbrooke Street West, Hayes Line, Mount Pleasant Road, Lansdowne Street W, Maple Grove Road, North Monaghan Parkway, Stewart Line, Cathcart Crescent, Sharpe Line, Brown Line, Clifford Line Road and Morton Line. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This road is part of the long-distance roads 7, 28 and Trans Canada Highway (ON) (Hwy 7, Hwy 12 to Hwy 417) and the bicycle route "Hills, Views and Pastries 80". Highway 7 also exists in Otonabee–South Monaghan, Asphodel-Norwood and Selwyn.
