It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Franktown Road and crosses Ashton Station Road, Windmill Crescent, Crooked Sideroad, Harold Jones Way, Cam's Way, Landians Way, Brunton Sideroad, Derry Sideroad, Cuckoos Nest Road, Davis Sideroad and Franktown Cemetery Road. This road is part of the long-distance road "10". Richmond Road also exists in Prescott and Russell Counties and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Counties.
