River Street in Thessalon is a two-lane secondary road. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Gordon Street, Boyle Street, Sydney Street, Elliot Street, Peachey Street and Government Road and ends at Main Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. This road is part of the long-distance road "17B". River Street also exists in Nipissing District, Manitoulin District, Sudbury District and Timiskaming District.
