Highway 17 in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township is a two-lane, asphalted expressway (90 km/h). The road has partly no sidewalks. It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Menard Crescent, Waterfalls Road, Whalen Road, Gagan Road, Mailloux Road, Duff Road, Kring Road, Walford Road, Sugar Lake Road, Myhill Road, River Road West and Wither Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This road is part of the long-distance roads 17 and Trans Canada Highway (ON) (Hwy 17, North Bay to Lake Helen) and the bicycle route "Trans Canada Trail (Sudbury to Blind River)".
