Kingsgate Street in Winchester is an asphalted, lit residential street. The road has sidewalks (paving stones). It runs in a north-south direction starting from St Swithun Street and crosses College Street, Canon Street and Romans Road and ends at Kingsgate Road. It is a footpath between St Swithun Street and College Street and not passable by car. This road is part of the hiking trails Pilgrims' Trail, Clarendon Way and St James' Way and the bicycle route "Winchester Local Cycle Network" and the mountain bike route "Winchester Off Road Cycle Trail".
