Military Road in Isle of Wight, Chale is a two-lane, asphalted, unlit main road. The road has no sidewalks. There is no cycle path. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Esplanade and crosses Afton Road, Greystones Lane, Southdown Road, Brook Lane, Hulverstone Lane, Ridget Lane, Grange Road, Marsh Green, Chine Lane, Southdown and Wight Mouse Inn. It connects Brighstone, Freshwater, Chale and Shorwell. This road is part of the bicycle route "Round the Island Route" and the hiking trail "Isle of Wight Coastal Path".
