It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Chaucer Roundabout and crosses Notley Street, Old Ruttington Lane, Broad Street and Union Street. This road is part of the bicycle route "NCN National Route 1 Dover to Canterbury" and the hiking trail "Canterbury Middle Ring Walk".
