The Ridgeway in East Hendred in Vale of White Horse is a gravelled track (dirt track). The road surface is bad. It runs in an east-west direction starting from Chain Hill and crosses Coldharbour Road, Ilsley Downs Riding Route and White Way. It connects Lockinge, East Hendred, Ardington and West Hendred. This road is part of the mountain bike route "King Alfred's Way". The Ridgeway also exists in Blewbury, Wantage, Letcombe Bassett, Letcombe Regis and Childrey.
