It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses School Street, Fielder Street, Central Avenue, Elder Street, Broadway Avenue, Church Drive, Allen Street and Lunsford Avenue and ends at South Main Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highway "158". North Main Street also exists in Lake City and Jonesboro.
