It runs in an east-west direction starting from Hartman Road and crosses San Juan Drive, Memorial Drive, South Broadway, Jordan Place, South Cedar Street, South Oak Street, South Chestnut Street and South Market Street and ends at East 7th Street. It connects Cortez and Montezuma County. West 7th Street also exists in Baca County, Dolores County, San Juan County, Kiowa County and Huerfano County.
