It runs in an east-west direction starting from First Cavalry Division Memorial Highway and crosses 6th Street, Pikeview Avenue, Log Avenue and Cedar Avenue and ends at Dalton Avenue. It connects La Junta and Otero County. 4th Street is also known as State Highway 10.
