Main Street in Southington is an expressway (Road number CT 10). It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from North Main Street and crosses Center Street, Academy Street, Berlin Avenue, Columbus Avenue, Vermont Avenue, Eden Avenue, Meriden Avenue, Old Turnpike Road, Chestnut Street, Bristol Street and Carter Lane. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highways 10 and Washington–Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail Auto Tour Route. Main Street also exists in Newington, Wethersfield, Hartford, Farmington and New Britain.
